Really enjoyed having a go at this orange clock. I saw it a while ago and kept it in mind to try. It was a lot harder than I anticipated too.

It was a lovely experience watching the last supermoon of this year, rise and then set at the other end of the day.

There was a story behind this image!
I was up and out early as I wanted to see if I could catch the sun rising behind a particular building I'd seen. In the event, it didn't really work and as I wandered back home, I saw a big gate open into an abandonded area, although there were greenhouses quite a bit further in.
I saw a church up on the top of a hill and the sun was coming up right behind it, so I tried my luck. A guy in a pick up caught sight of me just has he'd passed, however didn't stop.
I finished taking my photos, packed up and headed to the gate. It was shut and I could see a huge padlock in place!
As I walked towards it my mind was working overtime thinking of my options - there were none!
As I reached the 3m high gates I pulled at the handle of the bolt and was so relieved to see the padlock hadn't actually been locked; it was closed and not pushed down. What a relief!
In the event, the images I captured wouldn't have been worth the hassle if the gate had been locked. However, I shall remember the adventure each time I look at them and I do like the backlit trees!😂😂
