Seville is not the place to head for in summer, however if Chris was to use the Christmas gift he had of a turn around a racing track in a Lamborghini, then there was nothing else for it but to go!
It was an interesting experience and we were able to get out and about in the evening for a while once the sun had gone down. We will be returning to explore further in the cooler months.

Whale watching off the Moroccan coast. So close to Gibraltar meant we couldn't leave without a visit, especially as our hotel was just across the border in Spain and we could walk across. A great day and enjoyable time on 'The Rock'.

Street procession celebrating the Virgen del Carmen. There seem to be so many celebrations of this icon. After the procession passed us, a stroll along the beach beckoned, as did the sardines being prepared!

A spectacular sight of the blood red moon rising which we watched from our roof terrace.

The night air show was well worth waiting up for, however it was only 15 mins long. We'd toyed with the idea of getting closer to the beach to watch it. Thank goodness we decided to watch what we could from our roof terrace. It would've been a long walk for such a little time. We'd been startled earlier in the day by the Euro fighters practising and making a great deal of noise!

The grand finale to the airshow and my first time of seeing the display. This time we did venture to the beach to watch the show. It was initially not very spectacular, however as different planes went through their routines skills and thrills increased. The last planes to perform came in really low over the beach and reminded us of the Red Arrows with their display. The wind was very strong which meant the smoke patterns quickly dissipated which was a shame.
